Clear 3D images depend on baby's position and cooperation on the day. If baby is not facing the right way, our sonographer will try a few techniques to encourage movement, including asking you to walk around or have a snack. We cannot guarantee 3D image quality, but we will always make every effort.

How to prepare

No requisition needed. Performed by Sonography Canada certified sonographers in a professional clinical setting. Book online or call us directly. These packages are best scheduled between 26 and 32 weeks for the clearest images.

Drink water beforehand. A comfortably full bladder supports image quality, particularly earlier in the gestational window.

Bring your guests. Up to 2 people are welcome in the room. Children are welcome.

Bring your phone. You are welcome to photograph and video the screen throughout your session.

For Hello Baby 3D, allow a little extra time in case baby needs encouragement to move into position. Having a light snack before your appointment can help.

The Hello Baby and Hello Baby 3D packages are elective prenatal viewing and keepsake experiences intended for entertainment purposes only. These sessions are non-diagnostic and do not replace medical ultrasound examinations or prenatal care provided by your physician or midwife. No radiologist report is issued for these sessions. All ultrasound sessions are performed by experienced Sonography Canada certified sonographers in a professional clinical setting. 3D image quality depends on fetal position, gestational age, and other factors, and cannot be guaranteed. Any medical concerns regarding your pregnancy should be discussed with your physician or midwife.
